For Suppliers
Local Government Procurement seeks to forge strong business relationships with suppliers who meet the varied needs of councils in NSW.
All LGP supply contracts are established following a formal tender process.
All LGP tenders are advertised through two daily metropolitan newspapers, LGP's website and etendering portal www.tenderlink.com/lgp.
LGP's Business Managers work closely with suppliers, keeping them current with Local Government issues, council interests and concerns as well as industry trends and general feedback.
National Procurement Network
The National Procurement Network (NPN) was established in 2005. Each member of the Network is a commercially focussed member of a Local Government association and/or subsidiary company. Each member has been specifically established by the Local Government sector, to harness the collective purchasing power of that sector and deliver volume aggregated supply arrangements that save money and improve service. The NPN assesses whether there is benefit in supply arrangements that would cover the entire Local Government sector across Australia.
The Network comprises of:
- New South Wales
Local Government Procurement - Northern Territory
